Windflower Housing Association, supported by specialists funded through MCLH, have conducted a study to look at viable alternatives to dealing with brown water from new, or old, developments. The results present a series of wetland options that will provide the efficiency of a reed bed system, but with the added habitat gains of a wetland. This is especially important in the Wye Catchment Area where there has been a moratorium on new house building due to river pollution. For more information contact the team at MCLH.
